Accounts Officer - Immediate start Your new company

The Role
Reporting to the Accounts Manager, you'll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the business. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with monthly financial reports and reconciliations
• Supporting BAS preparation and ATO compliance tasks
• Performing daily and monthly bank reconciliations
• Coding and reconciling company credit card transactions
• Assisting with PAYG and superannuation obligations
• Maintaining accurate records in Xero
• Supporting AP/AR functions including invoice processing and follow-ups
• Reconciling freight invoices and liaising with internal teams
• Assisting with inventory and supply ordering
• Providing audit support and general finance admin

About You
You'll be someone who enjoys variety and is eager to learn. Ideally, you'll bring:

• Some experience in a finance or accounting support role
• Familiarity with Xero or similar accounting software
• A basic understanding of end of month and reporting processes
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude
• Good communication and time management skills
• A relevant qualification in accounting or finance
