Job Summary
We are seeking an Account Direcor to take on a multifaceted role that demands excellence in customer engagement, project leadership, cost optimization, and the cultivation of a culture dedicated to relentless improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Market and Customer Leadership
- Define and execute a comprehensive, long-term strategy for industry-specific customer engagement that positions the organization as a preferred strategic partner.
- Build and strengthen senior-level relationships across key accounts and market sectors, driving customer retention, satisfaction, and profitability.
- Identify emerging market trends, competitive threats, and evolving customer needs; translate insights into actionable strategic initiatives.
- Serve as a visible thought leader and brand ambassador, representing the company at industry forums, conferences, and strategic partner events.
- Align customer engagement and growth strategies with objectives, ensuring integration across sales, marketing, operations, and engineering.
- Lead initiatives to enhance customer lifetime value through tailored engagement models, innovation partnerships, and performance-driven collaboration.
Organizational and Project Leadership
- Provide oversight to complex, cross-functional programs ensuring alignment with financial, operational, and strategic objectives.
- Drive accountability for project delivery excellence across teams, ensuring timelines, budgets, and customer expectations are consistently met or exceeded.
- Mentor and develop program and project management employees to strengthen execution discipline and strategic alignment throughout the organization.
- Direct the development of business cases, proposals, and presentations that communicate value, ROI, and strategic intent.
Financial and Operational Stewardship
- Oversee cost optimization initiatives, ensuring product and service delivery models maximize margin while maintaining quality and customer satisfaction.
- Partner with Finance and Operations leadership to establish robust forecasting, pricing, and cost-control frameworks that support profitable growth.
- Ensure efficient resource allocation and scalability across projects, balancing innovation and cost discipline.
Change Leadership and Continuous Improvement
- Lead organizational change initiatives that enhance agility, improve quality, and strengthen customer responsiveness.
- Partner with Quality and Engineering to ensure effective management of product and process changes with minimal business disruption.
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement, problem-solving, and operational excellence across all functions.
- Use data-driven insights to refine organizational processes, improve delivery efficiency, and strengthen decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 10+ years of progressive experience in customer engagement, strategic account management, or program leadership within a manufacturing or technology-driven environment.
- Proven success influencing and managing relationships at the leadership level, both internally and externally.
- Strong financial and business acumen.
- Demonstrated success leading business professionals.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive presentation skills.
